About IELTS
The IELTS Test is the most recognized and globally accepted English language test. To test the communication abilities of a candidate, they are tested on four parameters:
- Listening
- Reading
- Speaking
- Writing
Types of Tests
There are two types of IELTS Tests. Depending on the purpose of the application, the candidate should choose the test accordingly.
General
The general IETLS test is set for individuals looking to move overseas either for work or for migrating. The test is designed to measure the applicants comfort levels with the English Language. A good score increases the chances of the applicants to move overseas.
Academic
The academic IELTS test is designed for students who are looking to pursue undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs in universities overseas. The IELTS academic test assesses if the student is ready to start their studies in an environment where English is the main language.
Learning Environment Offered

Classroom Training
Weekday
30 hours of Classroom sessions Total 20 sessions (90 minutes each session with weekly 6 classes between Monday-Saturday)
Online Training
Weekday
30 hours of Live sessions Total 20 sessions (90 minutes each session with weekly 5 classes between Monday-Friday)
Weekend
32 hours of Live sessions Total 8 sessions (4 hours each session with 2 classes on Saturday & Sunday)
IELTS Mock Tests
- The speaking test will be scheduled from Monday to Saturday as per tutor availability.
- The client will be issued the test result (in PDF) within 7 working days.
- Module-wise & overall band score is graded on a scale of 1 to 9
- This will include feedback on the areas of improvement from the Certified Tutor
- The test is a timed test with Listening for 30 minutes, Reading & Writing for 60 minutes each.
- A comprehensive assessment of all four modules i.e., Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing
- Listening & Reading are auto scored & auto-graded out of a maximum score of 40
- Speaking & Writing assessed by our certified tutors based on IDP standards
- Detailed feedback & recommendations to the clients to prepare effectively for the test

Asiel Overseas can help you in booking your slot as per your preferred time, location and date. You can also book your slot directly on the IDP website.
There is no limit to the number of times you can take the test. However, every time you take the test, there is a fee involved.
The minimum age requirement for taking the IELTS test is 18 years. You should also have a valid passport.
